We've visited El Rey Del Bocata a number of times over two years and love it's local Barcelona feel, a neighbourhood place for neighbourhood locals. Excellent coffee, croissants and a wide range of bocato type sandwiches (this year my wife provided some translation of ingredients) served in the morning by owner Roberto and throughout the long day by staff,.from 8.00am until 00.30.am.

One of my worst gastronomic experiences ever. Waitress prioritizing other people who arrived later, it took her around 20 minutes to take us note, and the place was not even half capacity. After that, they forgot to deliver one dish and mistaken another one. When we complaint, she adopted an agressive position, telling us that it was our fault for not telling her what did we want in the \correct\ way. One of the glasses they served us was barely clean, and when we ordered the receipt they did not know what we ordered, so we had to tell them especifically each dish we had, again. The place is very cheap. It can seem it's worth, but if so means being treated poorly, in an agressive manner and the dirtyness we faced, it's not worth at all.
