This place is 10 out of 10! Amazing dishes, they have both brunch classics and some original dishes, we recommend patacones (fried banana pancakes) and fried tomatoes with ricotta. Everything delicious, portions are big and prices very good. Service is super friendly, the place is cozy with nice decoration and lot of light. Coffee is good too. Best brunch in Barcelona!

Visited for brunch last weekend and it was worth the 15 minute wait outside for a table. Great decor and vibe. Service was quick once we were seated. Tried their cold brew coffee and avocado stack which was really tasty. Portion was a little on the small side, could have done with two eggs as opposed to one though! Would visit again - a great spot.

Very close to Plaza Catalunya, one of the most touristic places in Barcelona we can find a coffee shop and restaurant named Citizen Café. They have a very spacious place that serves food and good specialty coffee as well. They are not roasters, so they are always changing their beans over there. But having Familia Osorio as the most common. What is very surprising, and in a very good way is that they charge almost the same price for a espresso than in any place with average “bad quality” coffee. The espresso in there cost as little as 1.20 Euros. The prices of food are aligned with prices in Barcelona, but I felt the quantity was a little bit greater as well, so another point to CITIZEN CAFÉ (in the photo you will see a well served pulled pork juicy sandwich that costed 8 euros with chips!). I have been there 3 times and every time I left CITIZEN I was full and happy. The only downside of Citizen Café is that they dont offer any filtered methods. We highly reccomend you to go to eat and have a great specialty coffe at CITIZEN CAFÉ. You can also stop by over there to work, and is one of the few specialty coffee shops that stay open untill 11:00PM in Barcelona. For more info about specialty coffee bcncoffeeguide.com

We went there for brunch on a Friday morning and it did not disappoint. Nice ambiance, friendly host and amazing food. Coffee was also very good. I had delicious scrambled eggs with salmon and my partner had the poached eggs with salmon (equally delicious). We did not make a reservation but would suggest a reservation if you planning to go over peak times. Overall definitely worth a visit if you in the area.
