First time I came to this restaurant was almost 10 years ago and everyone having lunch there was Asian but me (a Chinese friend took me to experience real Chinese cuisine). Ever since, the restaurant has become increasingly popular amongst the locals. Even though I must say I believe the quaility has worsened, it has a very extensive menu with a varied selection of tasty dishes, which are so big that you must certainly share. The restaurant itself looks rather old-fashioned and unsophisticated but the toilets are kept clean. Great quality/price ratio & bear in mind to go early since it gets packed quickly!

Food always taste better when you share with friends! Very reasonable price for good Chinese food here in Barcelona.

Everyone in Barcelona should at least once eat in Chen ji. One of my go to chinese resto in BCN. Cheap, yummy, everything! I like their ternera frita!

Impolite and slow. If they say 15 minutes expect 40. They prioritise online orders and bump walk-ins down.0

We visited in Barcelona during the December lockdown and had to resort to takeout for dinner since restaurants were closed. We ordered fried rice, stir fried 年糕 (rice cake) with chicken, Kung pao chicken and soft fried tofu hotpot. As a Chinese American, these dishes were totally on point and like anything you might get at an American Chinatown. It was also affordable, about 6 Euro per entree. Very enjoyable!
