I'd already eaten several times in the chef Dani's other restaurant, La Modesta, so I knew the food would be amazing and it was. We have ordered takeaway twice in 2 weeks and it's been excellent both times. High standard and interesting dishes; variations on European classics with some twists from Latin America and beyond. Honestly everything was standout so it's hard to pick a favourite dish, but I especially loved the solomillo with truffled potatoes and the prawn/mozzarella balls. Looking forward to eating there in person as soon as possible. Bravo Dani!

Hidden gem! A small restaurant with a friendly, welcoming, neighbourhood atmosphere and excellent food. You can tell that the Peruvian cook takes his profession serious and with passion. You will find Spanish/Catalan classics, but also interesting dishes from other influence.

Excelente combinación de cocina moderna con un aire de bodega antigua ( 1940). El personal es muy agradable y conocedora de los productos de proximidad de primeras categorías . Sus platos muy vistosos tienen aún mejor sabor. Supongo que volveremos a disfrutar de sus platos y compañía .

Ein super schönes und gemütliches Restaurant mit kreativen und sehr leckerem Essen zu fairen Preisen. Der Koch steht immer für Fragen zur Verfügung und zaubert mit voller Leidenschaft leckeres Essen. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl in dieser süßen, modernen Bodega!

Muy recomendable! Vinimos a la bodega 1940 recomendados por un amigo y vaya sorpresa! Un menú de tapas de autor muy buenas! Calidad precio más que razonable y a parte un menú de mediodía buenísimo! Preguntar por "Kike" para un gran servicio! Muy recomendable! Que aproveche!

La comida exquisita, el ambiente perfecto y el trato inmejorable. Realmente lo recomiendo y aunque no me pille cerca de casa me acercaré siempre que pueda. La presentación, el sabor... de verdad, vale la pena. Pese a las condiciones que sufre restauración por la restricción horaria creo sinceramente que este local será de los que sobrevivan a estos tiempos tan adversos. Gracias por la experiencia y por la comida!
