They're well stocked with whatever you need for your pet. The dogs and rodents they have on display seem to be comfortable and calm. Yes, the puppies behind the glass windows might be somewhat uncomfortable at first, but don't imagine them staying there for days on end. They're well taken care of. Their birds seem to be distressed though. Cages fit to hold two or three birds usually hold double this amount. One budgie did nothing but consistently yell, likely due to stress. Though the cages are within regulations, it could be better.

I went to Amadeu Vidal based on recommendation to get pet supplies for my puppy and I've been amazed with the selection and degree of service. On our first visit, my 4mo Frenchie got sick on the floor and the attendant was very understanding and non judging . He also helped me find the best chewing toys and other supplies, all with a lot of patience to explain me everything, and in English (which I really appreciate). On our second visit, I bought a very large puppy corral that was super heavy and the owner immediately arranged for someone on his staff to walk the few blocks away with me to help me carry the corral home, at no cost. I want to add that these guys have been in so many ways much more helpful and much friendlier than the folks at Kiwoko, where I am not to set a foot again. Moreover, the attached Vet was also very competent, sweet and helpful. Thanks Amadeu Vidal!

Lockdown Lego

I have two rescue guinea pigs and this is where I always buy hay for them. It is better than the big chain stores and cheaper than amazon. I removed one star because I don’t love seeing all of the birds in little cages, but it is normal here in Spain. The animals in this shop are always clean and it is air-conditioned. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable.
