Acción Planetaria DSR is the next step of Dentistas Sobre Ruedas Barcelona (DSR), a NGO founded in 2004 with the aim of offering dental assistance to populations in need around the world especially in Senegal, Mauritania, Sierra Leone, Peru and since july 2016 in Greece to give attention to the refugees. Working for more than 10 years into the cooperation field with volunteers, oral health and dental practitioners, the NGO now broadens its operations, its volunteers'​ profiles and changes itself to Acción Planetaria DSR. Our will to work not only focuses on oral health promotion but we now change ourselves into an organization which welcomes and supports all kind of action that helps to make our surroundings a better world. Facing the actual situation of precariousness endured by the refugees in Greece, Acción Planetaria DSR starts a new project: 'La Casa Planetaria'​ which has the aim of creating a space dedicated to health, culture and arts, that could be open around the clock to attend people in need, whenever they could be refugees or people at risk of social exclusion.
