This place is shabby, yes, and they can be really slow at clearing the tables, but I'm not at all fussy and I love this place for its spacious interior. It has booths next to big windows that look out onto the roundabout with the fountain. The breakfasts are cheap and good (you might need an extra pot of tomato with your toast). Some of the cakes here are really good too. Come for the food and the space, not the decor.
The pastry looks good behind the shiny counter but it's just isn't exciting when it's on the table. There is no table service and the stuff behind the counter is rather indifferent. The place looks new and trendy at first sight but it fails miserably on the details. A couple of breadcrumbs here and there, some dirt on the walls and it wasn't even quarter busy. The good point is that there wasn't a 5 card limit and I could leave quickly.
Nice coffee and pastries, the service could be a little more efficient however as it usually takes a little long to order and get your food & coffee
Cake are not so bad and the breads look nice...
