I think autoreisen are a good and honest company, where most rental companies are not, but my problem is with the quality and condition of their cars... Out of the last 5 cars I had from them, 4 had issues. 3 had to be returned. It's great that they almost never bill anyone for damages unlike other companies, but I guess because of this they just don't bother checking the cars any more.

Used AutoReisen twice now and on both occasions the service and process have been fantastic. Quality of car is way above what you pay for it. Cannot recommend them enough. Collection at Lanzaroteairport was swift and hassle free, drop off was the same. Excellent.
Great staff and service. Booking was easy and nothing to pay until you arrive. Email confirmation of booking with instructions. Very competitive prices too. Collection was easy and quick at the airport. We were also given a free car upgrade which was nice of them. The returns process was easy too. You just drop the car in their designated area at the airport and hand back the keys. No surprise charges when we returned home either. Overall a very good experience and will definitely use again.

This was one of the most straightforward and hassle free places to rent a car that I have ever used. Very handy that the office is accessible in the luggage collection area as we managed to pick up the car keys before our bag was even available to collect from the luggage carousel. The car was fine as well (a modern Renault Clio). Highly recommended!
The C3 we got was brand new. No nonsense, no hidden stuff to worry about, no sirurgical scan on return. I would hire from them again in a heartbeat. One minor nag was the pickup.. if i already did everything online, i dont see the point in entering everything once again... Took us about 45 minutes of line to get to the paperwork.
