Such a beautiful place. Close to train station so really easy for public transport. Awesome space with outdoor bath, indoor wet room and shower, pool, a little piece of paradise in alora and a beautiful host who made us feel so welcome and so lovely that we have booked again. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in alora, the best you can find for a great budget .

We found this place when we were looking for a romantic weekend. It is really quirky and 'arty' as the name suggests! It is quite near Alora - just about walkable uphill or there is a bus from the nearby station, which is also really convenient for local trips and further afield e.g. Malaga. The accommodation is basic (not good if you prefer luxury!) but you have everything you need and it is really well thought out with lots of original touches. The hosts are really friendly and helpful, they also provide lots of basics you may need such as bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee and some unexpected luxuries such as wine, olives and nibbles. We stayed in the little apartment with a private courtyard and outdoor jacuzzi bath which was lovely. You have use of a shared outdoor kitchen, barbecue, washing machine, dryer and can purchase some items from a communal fridge. The castle is quite close via a footpath, would not recommend driving there as the streets are extremely narrow. The town is nice with lots of bars, restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a good Indian takeaway if it is still there. There is a public outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Lots of villages to explore and near the Caminito del Rey (by car or train), and the lovely lake Ardales and Bobastro ruins - you need a car to get to both of these. Would definitely stay here again and hope to do so when possible!
