Recently did a taster paragliding day with Joe ...Carlos the instructor and Anna his assistant. Never tried it before but had a great day. After a briefing from Joe ,Carlos started the teaching. We did extensive ground handling with the wing. It's a bit bewildering at first with all the lines but after some great instructions I started to get the hang of it. Do you need to be fit...I'm 59 and not done much for a few years...sweat a bit but stayed the pace. Wind was very light so a little patience is required. In the afternoon we moved up the mountain for a tandem jump......wow! We did go up to a big height. When Carlos said run I ran ...straight off the top....amazing ....you are flying....trust your pilot and enjoy an experience of a lifetime. If you are thinking of this as an experience go for it, it's very special. Me..well I'm going to do the pilot training next.....wish me luck and maybe we'll meet in the sky. Curt. From UK Dec 2017
