Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Mojacar was a very nice surprise to us. Not only was the beach very nice and the food around town very good (if you do some research), but also this promenade was an unexpected highlight. It goes along for a bunch of kilometres from down south around the Hotel Indalo in Ventanicas-el Cantal up north to the Mercadillo Garrucha in La Parata. It's a flat, mostly quite wide boardwalk which was finished not long ago. Numerous benches along the way to rest your legs. Also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. And there's also various accesses to the public beach from there. It's a wonderful, palmtree-lined walk. In the daytime there are only few visitors, mostly due to the hot sun during summer. In the evening and especially after dinner time it can get pretty busy, but there's space for everybody. It's a great thing to do in this nice town, we never got tired of walking up and down the promenade.
