Great shop, well stocked and great staff

We were holidaying in a villa in Piedra Amarilla when the gas boiler began to provide intermittent hot water. I contacted the owner who advised that a technician would attend from Fontalmanzora. My husband, an ex-plumber, suspected an issue with the diverter valve (3 way valve) and I explained this over the phone to the English speaking member of staff. On arrival, the technician looked bemused, flicked the tap on and off and proceeded to drain the contents of the boiler (approximately 4 litres of black water) into a small plastic jug and all over the floor of the utility area. The boiler then blew up, as the electricity had been left on and water had penetrated the circuit board. By 8:00 pm there was nothing more that could be done and the technician said he would return the following day. The next morning the technician returned and blew a few more fuses, before advising that the boiler needed a new circuit board and that it would take 5-7 days to obtain this. I was incredulous! Thanks to Fontalmanzora, we were left without any hot water for 6 days - not even an intermittent supply. The technician finally returned (under duress) with a temporary solution: an electric boiler. The following day, another technician turned up, out of the blue, with a circuit board and attempted to dismantle the electric boiler to commence work on the gas boiler. No way! I explained that, as we had only had the luxury of hot water for one evening and would be leaving in two day’s time, there was no way he would be ‘repairing’ anything until such time as I was well and truly out of Almeria!
Always good here. Knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. Spanish is a first language, but there is an English speaker who is good.
The team here are realky helpful, polite and they will help you with all your questions. 10/10 for product information, service as well as loads of swimming pool chemicles and spare parts (cheaper than most pool shops) Keep up the good work
