One of the best place! Clear water, better bring swimming shoes, the entrance is 3euros.

Had a lovely swim on New Years Day. Magical place.

I really liked this place. It was winter so there were only 6 people. The air temperature was around 8C and the water maybe around 20C. So not hot, but not cold either. The changing rooms were locked and the place was more or less locked down for the winter. But that made it more nice for me.

This was a highlight of our visit to Valencia. The drive to Montanejos is stunning. Driving through back country winding roads following the valleys of the mountain range was a joy, but the real treat of'course were the hot springs themselves. This was probably the clearest water I've ever seen in my lifetime. A bit cool at first but you adjust quickly. The riverbed is a bit rocky as you enter but quickly gives way to larger and more smooth pebbles and you can swim out far enough that you couldn't even touch the ground. The hiking trails around the area were great as well. We hiked up to the Black Cave and a little beyond, trails are well marked and open up to some great vistas. There are signs posted around the hot springs that say you can picnic, but there was not anyone to stop us, as none of the facilities were open when we went on a weekday in late April. There was also noone to pay for parking, so that ended up being free as well. Overall, I would say this is a must visit place if you can fit it into your schedule.

Great place.to swim in fresh water, however hot springs is kind of an over statement as the water is cold but there are some mini warmer spots on the side of the rocks. I would still recommend if you are in the valencia area.
