I am so happy that I came across Carina during my search for an alternative practitioner in Barcelona. From the beginning I felt well taken care of, understood and supported. Carina is a wonderful and empathetic person. Already after our first conversation I had the feeling of being understood and after Ayurveda many of my habits and behaviors suddenly made sense and I understood myself better. With the help of acupuncture and numerous advices, I feel a significant improvement, not only in my acne, but also other physical ailments. For about 3 years I’ve struggled with cystic acne and major skin breakouts to the point where it was starting to take over my social life and self esteem. I’ve tried everything from acne skincare products, acne facials, lasers, antibiotics, birth control, etc and still had no success. I was starting to give up thinking I will live with acne forever, until my brother told me about acupuncture. At first, I was skeptical of it and wondered how a bunch of needles would clear my skin. But, surprisingly, after 4 weeks of treatment, my skin is clearing up! My cystic acne is gone, and even the redness and inflammation has gone down tremendously. Along with my acupuncture treatments, Carina also gave me some Chinese herbal medicine that I’m supposed to be taking 3 times a day. If you are looking for a Naturopath who specialises in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Paris or Barcelona, I can highly recommend Carina Greweling. My first face to face session with Carina was for recurring tendinitis that I have been suffering from since my early 20s. Usually it takes up to 12 weeks for the tendinitis flare up to ease off; Carina's treatments and accompanying advice reduced the timeframe by HALF. She used a mix of acupuncture, moxibustion and Gua Sha. My second meeting with Carina was via teleconference - I was in Paris and she was in Barcelona. Her advice for diet changes based on Ayurvedic principles have really helped me with bloating discomfort, sleep issues and to maintain my natural weight.
