My food was delicious. I'm definitely going again. The strawberry lemonade is amazing.
The customer service is awful. The owner berates his cashier in front of customers, when confronted about wait times, he refuses to look at and speak to the customers, instead he tells the cashier to talk you when he's clearly right there. They lie about wait times and keep you sitting there for way longer than expected. The second to last time I was there I was told to call ahead if I didn’t want to wait, so I did. They told me my food would be ready in 20 min, but when I showed they quoted me another 10, but I waited an additional 35. 55min total wait time for food that was poorly reheated. When confronted in the store about the wait times and cold food, the owner dismissed me. Full menu is never available and sometimes they have very few options. I've been 4 times, but I'm never going there again. The owner also harasses customers on social media who leave negative reviews.
My experience at this place was quite different from the comments I’ve read!!!! It’s my last day in Spain and many of my co workers informed me of how good the wings where so i had to see for myself!!! I ordered the buffalo wings a small ST. Louis Rib, cowboy style baked beans ..... I mean u can’t go to a BBQ place without trying the ribs !!!! The meat to the rib was falling off the bone and for a small it was pretty big and good as he** .... the wings are the best in rota after only eating he rib and two wings I was stuffed.... the food is awesome the owner is great!!!! P.S ask for the strawberry limeade!!!!
PRO: Food is excellent! Do not go off of the previous bad review. I got the beef ends, pulled pork, and green beans, and all three items were VERY good. Lots of flavor, which is hard to find in Rota! The menu changes daily/time of day. They cook a certain amount of food each day and when they run out that is it. I believe to ensure the items are always fresh. So you have to ask and see what they have at that point in time. CON: Downside is that my food was luke warm, but I also had it on the back of my motorcycle. Maybe keeping it hot all day will dry out the meat? Also, I think that they should include bread with the pulled pork. If you like lots of barbecue sauce make sure to ask for extra!
